We love horses at
Rivermont Farm! That's why we're in this business! Each and every
horse is treated as if they belonged to us, and they receive the best
care you'll find! We have many references to prove it! Horses should
have clean stalls, fresh water, and be fat and happy! Simple as that!
Our farm was designed with the HORSES comfort in mind, because if you
have a happy horse you'll be a happy owner! Rivermont Farm is just
minutes away from Rome Georgia (a straight shot up Hwy. 27 or Hwy. 100)
and approx. an hour SW of Chattanooga, TN. Rivermont Farm is only 20
minutes from Berry College in Rome, GA. On top of this, you as the
owner will love the relaxed, family friendly atmosphere where you will
feel welcome each time you visit.
Our farm is located on 40 gorgeous, fertilized newly over seeded lush acres with a creek and the
Chattooga River flows along side our pastures. We have a HUGE riding arena that has
brand new sand footing, with a full set of new jumps plus a viewing deck where
visitors may watch ongoing riding lessons in the shade! The barn is
large and airy, with 12x12 stalls that each have a window and are kept
very clean! Our barn also has a new bathroom complete w/ shower & sink, large tackroom that is locked at night
complete with air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave and a bed in case you want to
spend the night, large concrete hot/cold washrack w/ crossties, room for your tack trunk by your horses
stall, and a blanket rack on each stall. Along with our huge turnout
pasture, we also have 3 large turnout paddocks that each have 4-board
fencing. Each horse if fed quality feed (Triple Crown Complete or
Triple Crown Senior) and hay twice daily. We feed
only high quality grains that are customized to the needs of each horse. We'll also gladly add
supplements (if owner provides) to your horses grain. Included in board
is scheduling of vet and farrier appointments, plus holding your horse
for their appointments at no extra cost! Rivermont Farm also host
clinics and schooling horse shows so you don't have far to go to compete
or gain more education in a clinic! We also frequently
attend shows around the southeast. We are members of the USEF and
the Georgia
Hunter/Jumper Association. In
2007 Rivermont will be attending several local shows, GHJA Rated shows,
and Arabian Sport Horse shows. For more info on our rates for
attending horse shows please

We only accept a very limited amount of boarders as the owner
of the farm cares for each horse herself, to insure each horse is
properly looked after. Where else can you find such individual care for
your horse?
We also allow riders to trailer in with their own horse and school
in our arena for $15 per horse/rider combination per hour of actual
riding time. Call us to schedule a time to school: 706-895-2325
