Rivermont Farm, Inc. Sales & Lease List
last update: 5/11/08

King Fred:

1996 Thoroughbred 15.3 hand (measured on a stick barefoot) gelding.  Beautiful conformation, very sweet, quiet personality.  Clips, loads, lunges, bathes, crossties, etc. all very easily.  Has schooled up to 3'6" with ease.  Shown successfully, was Reserve Champion in the 2' Division at his first show, won the large flat class!  Super mover, gorgeous form over fences.  Maintains a great pace.  Has had some off time, still a little green.  Just needs someone who has time to put into him and you'll have a top notch show horse!  Needs experienced rider.  Sound, no maintenance at all.   $8500.00  Price will go up as I get him back in shape again, just recently have put him back to work after about 6 months off due to my busy schedule.

Lunges, loads, crossties, etc. well.  Not marish.  Has never bucked, reared or done anything dangerous.  Must come ride to appreciate!   $4500.00

SPLISH SPLASH:  14.1 hand, 8 year old Large Pony Mare.  Fantastic mover, very sweet willing disposition.  Started over fences.  Still green o/f but willing!  Currently schooling 2' courses with good flying changes! She can be a little forward, so she needs a child rider with some experience.  All she needs is a little half halt to slow down and has great brakes!  Rides in an eggbutt or full cheek snaffle beautifully.  Does great on trails.  Very sound.  Price will go up with training.  $8500.00 nego.

**Splash was shown at the May Rivermont show and did great!  She won her first class out of 7 horses (our Charity walk trot) then won a 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Green Hunter Division out of a large division.  Connor Eleam rode her and she was a very good girl!  We'll post a video of her winning class asap!

WF Prince Valiant (Sir Lancelott x HL Alissta)  NEW! Pictures   More pictures

Breed: Arabian     Foal Date: 2005    Gender: Stallion

Color: chestnut           Height: 14.1 hands           Price: $6,500

Valiant is the only living, purebred son of Sir Lancelott. He's a dynamic young horse that could easily be herd sire material. We've decided to sell him as we're cutting back on the Arabian breeding program. His pedigree is a wonderful blend of old bloodlines. His half sister was the Canadian National Champion hunter mare in 2004. He is a Despect (by Probat) grandson and an *Aladdinn great-grandson. He is mostly Polish with a bit of Egyptian and Crabbet thrown in for good measure. He's going to be tall - probably around 15.2. This boy is extremely athletic and loves to show off and play. He's also SWEEPSTAKES NOMINATED. Due to very limited space and 2 breeding stallions on the farm, he needs to be sold. If you want him for a stallion, don't delay! SCID CLEAR   www.wildewoodfarm.com

WF Majestic (Sir Lancelott x Flags Up Princes (Mia))    Pictures   VIDEO

Breed:  Arab/Appendix QH  Foal Date: March '04    Gender: mare

Color: bay                    Height: 15.25 hands           Price: $7,500

VERY confident filly with lots of "look at me" attitude. Reg IAHA, Sweepstakes Nominated. This filly has "jumper" written all over her. This filly is extremely bold and already jumps like a deer. And did we say huge? She’s going to hit 16 hands without even trying. She’s a full sister to Liberty and Freedom. Buy now while her price is low only because of her age. She already powers over the logs in her pasture with form that rivals her sire. Want to compete in the big leagues? This filly can take you there. Sweet and affectionate. Great ground manners

2 time Champion in hand filly at the Magnolia show in Perry and blue ribbon winner at the GAHA show in Conyers.

Prissy is a 15 hh, 16 years young chestnut TB mare.  I've owned her for
almost 5 years, and she has been such a precious part of my life.  I'm
going to college next year, and as much as it kills me, Prissy just
needs a little girl who can ride her very consistently and love on her.

I've shown her very successfully in hunter/eq classes at RHSC and HSV
shows.  She typically places in the top 3 and has won several Reserve
Champs.  She's never mareish, calmly stands in the cross ties, loves
baths and pampering, easy to deworm, great for vet and farrier, clips
easily and basically loads herself in trailers.  She's fearless on
trails.  I've done a lot of Parelli Natural Horsemanship with her.  She
used to be very nervous and forward, but the horsemanship helps a lot.
She can be a little strong when she gets excited, so I would recommend
her for an intermediate rider; an advanced rider could excel on her.

She loves kids and is very good with them.  She's actually easier on
them than on me!  She adores jumping and always gets so excited when
she sees jumps in the ring.  I've only jumped her to about 2'9", but
she could go much higher.  She just steps over 2'3" stuff.  She's never
once refused a jump in all 5 years.  Since I've already paid March
board, I would like to hold on to her through March, but she's
available for a visit at any time.

As you can tell, I really can't say enough about my baby girl.  I'm
just trying to do what's best for her.  She will go to the best home
only.  I'm in Marietta, but she's based in Canton, GA.  I'm asking
$3,000 obo for her.
