Rivermont Farm,
Inc. Sales & Lease List
last update: 6/20/09
FOR SALE:
Due to the fact I have decided to
concentrate on managing horse shows and judging, I have decided
to let go of some of my horses. Please feel free to
contact me with any questions.
CF Twist N Shout: 1992 APHA breeding stock black
mare. 16 hands, her dam was a well bred Thoroughbred mare
and her sire was Sun Dee Bar Watts, a gorgeous black and white
paint stud. "Spanki" has produced over $30,000
worth of foals (that's only counting 3 I actually sold!) for me.
Matinee is one of them, plus two black and white paint mares,
Dusty (the buckskin below), as well as a jet black Half Arabian
mare that I will be showing soon. This girl knows how to
put color on a baby! She produces good size as well, as
most of her foals have matured over 16 hands, depending on what
she's bred to. She was broke to ride when she was 3 but we
didn't ride her much, we let her be a mom, and she's done an
awesome job at it! She still has at least a few babies
left in her, but I've decided I don't want to raise anymore
babies at this time. She's an easy keeper, barefoot with
good feet, and just an easy girl to have around. Up to
date on shots/coggins and worming. Good home a must, as
I've owned this mare since the day she was born! (she was
actually the first foal I ever saw born when I was only 16 years
old!)

Spanki with Matinee in 1999.
Dusty: 2000 Buckskin
Gelding. 15.1 hands, gorgeous color! Half brother to
"Matinee". Fantastic movement. Started over 2'
courses. Very sweet disposition and laid back to ride, but
needs an intermediate to experienced rider. No vices or
soundness problems. Crossties, clips, loads, lunges, goes
barefoot, "plays well with others". Just a good boy.
A good home is an absolute must for Dusty. Up to date on
coggins, floating, shots, worming, etc. Would make awesome
hunter, jumper, dressage or trail horse.
Duncan: Pinto Gelding,
15 hands, 12 years old, shown successfully. Does 2' to
2'6" courses beautifully with decent flying changes.
Duncan was the 2008 Rivermont Farm Reserve Champion winner in
the 12 & Over Beginner Walk Trot Division. Clips, loads, sweet
disposition, no vices, very sound, easy keeper. Needs at
least an intermediate level rider. Has been used in camps.

SPLISH SPLASH:
Splash is a
kind pony with a big step. She is currently being schooled
at home up to 3’3”. She has shown in the local hunters up to
2’9” with an adult rider. Splash also took two 2nd place ribbons
in her very first jumper classes at 2’6”.
Splash loves to jump, and it takes a bigger jump to back her off
a bit. She would excel in the local Large Pony Hunters, or could
be your next Pony Jumper at Pony Finals!
Her form is improving each time out,
and she very rarely hits a rail! She does great on trails,
taking on brush and water easily. Very sound. Price will go up
with training.
Judging by Splash’s jumping ability
and great stride, she could be an amazing eventing pony as well.
There is no doubt she could handle the stadium phase with ease,
and she loves being ridden out of the ring as well.
Has been shown and will continue to
be until sold.
Look for Splash
next at the SHJG Spring Fling at Step-N-Free Stables on May 2nd
and 3rd.
