FOR SALE:

Rivermont HideNGoSeek:  (aka Twister)

Twister is our beautiful 5 year old registered APHA black stallion.
His first and only two foals were both gorgeous, big bays with 4 white stockings with beautiful blazes.  Both (a boy and a girl) have the best dispositions ever!  15.1 hands, current on coggins, shots and deworming.  His sire was a brown and white tobiano APHA stallion and his dam was a 16.1 hand black APHA mare who was 1/2 Thoroughbred. (she is pictured at the bottom of this page, CF Twist N Shout)  We can only take so many horses to Florida with us when we move, so I MUST SELL him asap.  Good home a must though!  He has had a saddle and rider on him a few times, but I do not consider him broke to ride at all, which is one reason I have him priced so reasonably.

Please see Twister's page for more pictures and info on him.  His dam was half Thoroughbred which is where the size on the babies is probably coming from.

Price: $1500.00  (a steal as his stud fee alone is $500)

"The Rivermont Sales Hall of Fame" :)

Here are a few photos of horses and ponies that Rivermont has trained and sold over the last few years.
Best of all, the people who have purchased horses from us have become dear friends if they weren't already! :)

Matinee:  A gorgeous 16 hand Half Arabian mare bred by Rivermont, foaled in 1999.  She is out of our old APHA/TB mare "CF Twist N Shout" and by the late "SA Reym".  Ashley showed her to many Championships in the Hunter ring at the Arabian "A" shows before selling her to Paige Gregerson.

Pictured above, Matinee's new mom (Paige Gregerson of TN) showing Matinee.

Pictured above, Ashley schooling Matinee at home in 2005.
Pick Me A Daisy:  Daisy joined the Rivermont family as a yearling.  Ashley broke and trained this beautiful palomino large pony, and eventually (about 5 years later) sold her to the nicest family ever!  Kelsey Hall of Atlanta is now Daisy's mom!  They show on the "A" Hunter Circuit all over the southeast and do really well!  Pictured below is of Kelsey showing Daisy.
King Fred:  Now known as "Russian Roulette", Fred is proudly owned by Karen Bartlett of Conyers, GA.  Fred was a rescued Thoroughbred from Hurricane Ivan in Florida years ago.  Ashley purchased him from the lady who had rescued Fred (who had been abandoned in a field 3' deep in water and was starving) then broke him to ride and put about 4 years of training into him.  However, I have to give Karen a WHOLE lot of credit here!  She has done an amazing job with this horse!  I'm so proud of them!

Karen and Fred doing what they do best....winning everything!
Dreaming Of A Cupcake:  Cupcake was rescued by Ashley as a starvation case at an auction where the killers roam.  She trained her, and eventually sold her to Kassey O'Kelley (pictured to the right) who adores her now!  This pony is quite the little jumper!  Cupcake now lives in Chattanooga, TN.

CF Twist N Shout
:  (Sun Dee Bar Watts x Trip N Out)  Spanki foaled on our farm in Fairburn in 1992.  She was a beautiful 16.1 hand Paint/TB cross mare who produced many outstanding foals for us through the years.  (Including Matinee above, and Dusty below.  She is also the dam of "Not Tu Shabby" and "Rivermont HideNGoSeek").  She now belongs to Jimmy Parker in LaFayette, GA

Good As Gold:   Dusty is now proudly owned by Nancy Bonadeo of New Mexico.  Dusty is out of Rivermont bred "CF Twist N Shout" and was trained by Ashley Godwin.  He was a part of the Rivermont family for 10 years, and was an amazing horse!  We just sold Dusty to Nancy in December, 2011.  Pictured to the right with Paige Gregerson showing him at a Rivermont show in October 2011.  We wish Nancy the best of luck with this fabulous horse!!!  (miss him already!)

Rivermont Ruby:
Ruby is now owned and loved by my dear friend, Kathy Nava, of Alpharetta, GA.  Ruby is looking forward to a future of giving riding lessons to beginners and being shown by her new mom, Kathy!  :)  Ruby will have a forever home with the Nava's, and we are tickled pink!

TALENTED, SENSIBLE, FRIENDLY WEANLING FILLY LOOKING FOR A SHOW HOME!

2011 Friesian/Saddlebred Filly for sale

Sealey is a tall, leggy filly who will be suitable for just about any discipline you choose to pursue. She has beautiful conformation, fabulous feet, a walk/trot/canter that is amazing and best of all, an amazing mind!  This girl is going to grow up to be a tall and extremely elegant mare.  She is 9 months old and 14.2 1/2 at the top of her hindquarter!

She's a little scruffy  in the recent pictures with all that winter hair, but don't let it fool you!  There's a gorgeous filly with stunning movement hiding under all that fuzz!

Her resume includes being halter broken, stands tied, has been bathed, is regularly groomed, picks her feet up (has been trimmed by the farrier), loads, has been trailered, blanketed and wormed. Sealey has also been introduced to clippers, fly spray and I am starting desensitizing work with her. (tarps, tires, etc...)

This is a fabulous fily that has been handled from day one. She has been one of the easiest babies I've ever worked with. The only reason Sealey is for sale is because I'm moving and I need to thin my herd down since they can't all go with me.

Her registration is pending with the American Warmblood Society due to the fact I missed their inspection date this past summer/fall. You can buy her now at this discounted price for that reason. If I still have Sealey in the Spring, she'll be attending the first available inspection in our area, at which time her price will increase based on her inspections results. I truly expect this filly to have a phenomenal inspection so get her while the price is low!

Sealey's dam is a Frieisian/TB and her sire is a Saddlebred.

Sealey's dam is 15.1H, but her parents were 16H (Dam-TB) and 17H+ (Sire-Friesian).  Dam's first foal (Sealey's sister) is 15.3H at 3 y.o. and still growing!

Sealey's sire is 16.2H and has consistent 16.2-17.1 height horses in his pedigree.

$2500.00

A Royal Temptation, a.k.a. Zoe.
2008 Friesian/TB Sporthorse mare, Registered with American Warmblood Society.

"Exceptional 3 year old warmblood sporthorse mare. Zoe's sire was a big bodied, level headed Jocky Club TB imported from Argentina with impeccable bloodlines and her dam is an elegant Friesian/TB mare which makes Zoe 3/4 TB and 1/4 Frieisan. She's a big bodied, muscular mare with the athletic ability and talent to excell in whatever discipline you chose for her.   Currently standing 15.3H and still growing. Big moving mare with three wonderful gaits. Judges raved over her walk at her breed inspection as a yearling, trot has wonderful reach and elevation and she has a to die for canter! Zoe has been free jumped and has gorgeous form and a natural love of jumping. This girl will have NO problem making the strides and is a definite looker so you're not going to be on "just another bay!"

Zoe has been with me since birth and handled consistently every day of her life.  Zoe bathes, clips, trailers, is great for the farrier, vet and dentist.  She has had desensitization work done(tarps, tires, etc...).   Zoe has an amazing personality, loves people and is great when turned out with other horses. She's curious about everything and would rather check something over rather than be scared.  While she is a fun, sweetheart of a mare this girl is truly a boss mare in the making, just like her dam, and will need someone who knows how to handle a strong minded mare.  I hate to part with this girl, but I'm moving and can't take the whole herd.  I also have her dam and younger sister for sale.

Zoe isn't broken to ride yet, but she is scheduled to go to the trainers at the first of March where she'll stay for 60 days. Training is to include under saddle work (W/T/C and lateral work), obstacle course work, trail riding and exposure all sorts of settings and environment such as indoor arenas, cattle work, put to cart, trail competitinos, etc...

There's so much more I can tell you about this girl and will be glad to email more pictures to anyone interested. Email amberhpatterson@gmail.com

Will only go to a great home.  A show/competition home is preferred.  Priced at $7,500, but if you make me a reasonable offer we can come to an agreement!!!  Would even be willing do a package deal on 2 or all 3 of the mares!!!"
