August 2nd;  September 6th;  October 4th;  November 8th

Our charity for the next couple of horse shows will be to support our Troops in Iraq by shipping care packages to our soldiers.   We will have boxes set up by the concession and show check in where we kindly ask you bring items we can ship overseas to our military that will let them know we care, and help give them a little piece of home!  100% of the money from the Charity Walk Trot class will go towards mailing these care packages to our troops.  Click here to see a list of suggested items you can bring.  Most of these items can simply be found at your local dollar store.  Thanks so much for your support!   Please email Ashley with any questions.  rivermontfarm@gmail.com

For those of you who have not visited us, our arena is very large with fabulous black sand footing.  We have a large field for trailer parking and a "real" restroom on the show grounds.  The farm has a fenced warm up arena below the show arena for all day schooling.  Each show has a concession stand with lots of yummies for everyone.  We welcome you to visit Rivermont and enjoy the friendly atmosphere everyone seems to love!

This year each show will offer an overall morning high point in the 3 Equitation classes.  Whichever rider accumulates the most points in the morning Equitation classes will win a special award in memory of Chris Elliott, who was a dear friend of mine who passed away in October of 2007 after a long battle with cancer.  Chris judged several of the Rivermont shows from 2005 - 2007 and will be missed terribly by all of us at Rivermont Farm.  We are going to call this the "Chris Elliott Equitation Challenge".  I think this will be lots of fun and I know Chris would have loved it!  There is no additional charge to enter the equitation challenge, however you must enter the flat class and at least one of the over fences classes.  We will also continue to have a Morning and Afternoon High Point of the Day Rider Award.  There is a $5.00 fee to be eligible for this award.  High Point Rider usually wins a ribbon and trophy of some sort.

*We welcome riders to school in our arena on non-show days for only $15.00 per horse/rider combo per hour of riding.  Please call Ashley or email to set up a day to school.  We do not allow anyone to ride in the arena if we have had substantial rain as it could pose a hazard to horse and/or rider.  If the weather is ever questionable, please call Ashley at 706-676-5566.
