Rivermont Farm offers fun yet
educational riding instruction for beginner to advanced riders. We
believe that beginner riders are the future of the horse industry, and
it's vitally important for them to have a positive experience with their
first steps of learning about horses! We also believe that no
matter how advanced you are in your riding, it's important to remember
why you ride....because of the love of one of the most amazing creatures
on earth, the horse. Most importantly, to never forget, it's about
having a great time for you AND your horse! Our students are all
levels of riding, beginners to very advanced riders. Children and
adults are of course more than welcome!

Ages 5
and up are more than welcome, and whether your goals are to show at top
levels of competition or ride for pleasure, we would love to help you
achieve your riding goals! Lessons include instruction in not only
riding, but general horsemanship as well such as grooming, tacking up,
cooling down, etc. More advanced riders may have their horse
tacked and ready to ride at the beginning of each lesson therefore
spending more time in the saddle during a lesson. Each lesson is on average 45 minutes to an hour in length.
Lessons are taught by Ashley Godwin (owner of the farm)
and we pride ourselves in the relationships we build with our clients.
Every rider becomes a dear friend to us! To read more about Ashley, please

here and it will open a new window. Ashley has shown on the
National level for years, and was the riding double in a Walt Disney
movie! Ashley's training and teaching methods are influenced by
Anne Kursinski (4 time Olympian) and Australian trainer Clinton
Anderson.

more than her fair share of lessons and showing! It's time she
