*FYI:  Schooling is available at Rivermont Farm anytime!  You can haul in your horse for only $15.00 per rider and school in our arena and use our jumps.  Please just email Ashley and let her know when you'd like to visit.  Weekends are usually available.  There is a hose for rinsing your horse afterwards.

HORSE SHOW NEWS

NEXT SHOW:  October 21st.   NOTE!  We have updated the 10/21 show's class list since the 9/30 show, so be sure to make note of the changes.  We adjusted the age group beginner classes to 11 and over and 10 and under.   Click here for a class sheet.  We also added a "Green Hunter Walk Trot" so the pro's won't ride against any beginners.

Also, great news!  The arena is finally finished!  We had black sand put down across the entire arena for better, safer footing.  We're SO excited to finally get this project accomplished!

We're lining up dates for 2007.  We need volunteers for next year to help work the gate and hand out ribbons!  Also, anyone with a BIG voice who would like to announce would be very welcome!  Most of the jobs are fine for kids say 12 and over.  If you work the gate an entire day you get a "token of appreciation!".  Please call or email Ashley if you are interested.  706.895.2325 or rivermontfarm@alltel.net

THANK YOU to Mochas Munchies for their Year End Award Donations!  Please see their website for great horse treats!

www.mochasmunchies.com  Their treats are also available to purchase at all of our shows at the concession stand.

Change to riders attire policy:  Riders may wear collared shirts (such as a polo shirt) tucked in neatly, jackets are preferred but riders will not be penalized for wearing a show shirt or polo type shirt.  Riders must wear breeches or jodphurs, tall boots or paddock boots, an ASTM approved helmet, and a smile!  Gloves are optional.  Braiding is also optional.

Just remember, you don't have to "win" every class to possibly win the high point of the day.  We base points on-
1st: 9 points; 2nd: 6 points; 3rd: 4 points; 4th: 3 points; 5th: 2 points and 6th: 1 point.  If you are one to enter several classes you have a great shot of winning, so don't forget to sign up for High Point of the Day!
