Ashley's Career Highlights:
Current: Owns and manages Rivermont Farm, manages
horse shows on the farm as well as off the farm, judges,
teaches
and
coaches at shows.
She also is currently showing her home bred Half Arabian mare, Not Tu
Shabby, a 5 year old half sister to her National winner "CBS Krystal
Kat+" and "Matinee". Congratulations to
Ashley's student, Paige Gregerson, as she is leaving for college to
attend the well known Virginia Intermont to major in Equine Studies!

April 21, 2007: Judged Sunset Ranch Hunter Horse Show. www.sunsetranchga.com November 11, 2006: Judged Sapphire Farm Hunter/Jumper Show 2005-Current: Organizes and manages horse shows at Rivermont Farm Fall of 2002: Moved to Lyerly and established "Rivermont Farm" 2001: Gracie born, so took a short horsey break to be a mom! :) 1998: U.S. Nationals Top 10 Championship with self trained mare, CBS KRYSTAL KAT+ 1998: Region 12 Champion in Hunter Pleasure AAOTR with CBS KRYSTAL KAT+ 1998: Region 12 Reserve Champion Green Working Hunter 3' with CBS KRYSTAL KAT+ 1998: GAHA Amateur Rider of the Year Award plus other numerous Year End Awards with GAHA that year. 1998: Region 14 Top 5 Hunter Pleasure AAOTR with CBS KRYSTAL KAT+ 1997: Region 14 Top 5 Hunter Pleasure AAOTR with CBS KRYSTAL KAT+ 1997: Hired by Walt Disney Company to ride as riding/stunt double in the Wonderful World of Disney movie "FLASH" starring Lucas Black, Ellen Burstyn and Brian Kerwin. 1990 and 1991: Year End Champion at RHSC with self trained Large Pony "Hidden Talent" in the following divisions: Low Pony, Intermediate Pony and Reserve Champion in Under Saddle. BOTH YEARS! 1991: Rode in clinic with Olympian Greg Best 1990-1991: Galloped and breezed race horses on the track (exercise girl!) while riding with Stephanie Free. 1988 thru 1993: Numerous wins at the "A" level with "Hidden Talent" 1989 thru 1995: Numerous wins at the "A" level with self trained jumper "Kaiser Fritz" in 4'+ classes 1986 thru 1995: Worked full time for trainer Claire Boyd at Claire Boyd Stables in Fairburn July 1985: Ashley gets first horse for her birthday! Starts out barrel racing Sultan (Hidden Talent), but after her dad says that's too dangerous she switches to jumping! |

Matinee was born and raised at Rivermont. She is now owned by
Paige Gregerson.

Then came Kaiser Fritz (around 1990) who was my jumper. The most amazing horse ever. Click here to read about him. He died in 2003.
Along came the 1997 Disney Movie "Flash" where I rode as a riding double
for the star, Lucas Black. I shaved my head for the part!
That's me pictured on the back cover of the movie. Anytime the
horse was doing anything for the most part, that was me! 
CBS Krystal Kat+ was my
self trained Half Arabian mare that I still own. In 1998 alone we
were Region 12 Champion in Hunter Pleasure AAOTR, Region 12 Reserve
Champion Green Working Hunter, US Nationals Top 10 in Louisville, KY in
Hunter Pleasure AAOTR (that was AWESOME!)She is now retired living the
good life at Rivermont.

Ashley's greatest accomplishment, her daughter Gracie McDaniel who now shows a pony named "Match Made In Heaven"
