Great news for 2008! There will be NO CHARGE to compete for year end awards at Rivermont Farm in 2008! The only requirements are that someone associated with that rider (a family member, friend, etc.) must work at least 9 hours throughout the year at any Rivermont Farm horse show, and you MUST sign up for the year end awards program before your points will begin to accumulate. You must compete in at least 5 of the 9 shows in order to be eligible for your award. We always need an announcer, gate worker, concession help, and show check in. I will post on this website what positions are needed for every show. We have a new LOUD PA system so you don't have to be a super loud person to be a great announcer! I will also set out a sign up sheet for future shows at the check in booth so you can sign up for what job you are able to work at each show. I have got to have help to make these shows run smoothly, so I'm willing to do free year end awards if you are willing to help me out and keep these shows running well! :)
This year we are also going to hold a Year End Awards banquet. I have no idea where this will be held, but I will post information on this website as we get closer to our November show. I thought a nice dinner with an awards presentation would be fun for everyone!

The Overall High Point of the Year rider will be pictured on the front cover of our 2009 show program! Anna Lueken and Blue Tango are pictured on the cover of the 2008 program as they were the Overall High Point rider for 2007! Points are calculated from all the eligible divisions for YEA's, whomever has the most points in all of the divisions all year long, wins! :)
